AXIS provided aid around the globe to those ravaged by the System. One great tragedy was the massacre of one million souls. Chulrah had experimental retractor grids placed in one million humans in various regions of the earth. Every humans body rejected the alien technology and died. However, seven returned.

Each of the seven possessed a special gene able to bond with the grid when brain functions ceased. In turn, the grid opened meta human abilities locked within the gene. Their life functions resurrected; each reborn with extraordinary gifts.

The seven formed a strike team for AXIS. Its goal was to bring help to everyone everywhere who suffered from the System; to unite the innocent in every way.
