POWER

Power is defined in the dictionary as, The ability or capacity to perform or act effectively; A specific aptitude; Strength, force or might; The ability to exercise control or authority; A person, group or nation having great influence; The energy or motive force in which a physical system or machine is operated; The product of applied potential...

From the very beginning, God has created man to be set apart from all the other creatures on the earth. God placed man over the other animals. He placed man in authority over the earth. We were created in Gods image. We were meant to be one and connected with God and intended to possess great power.

That power was stolen by the devil. Man gave up his lease of power when he sinned and separated himself from God. The devil claimed mans rightful power and set up his kingdom upon the earth. His initiative in using this power has always been the same: To kill, steal and destroy.

But Gods love was far too strong to allow that transfer of power to remain. God exerted His love and sacrificed His son Jesus Christ to regain the power that man had lost; the power to be in unity and covenant with God; the power to be triumphant and victorious in this life; the power to be heirs to the very throne of God and all the rights, privileges and authority that comes with being an heir.

That power is now accessible to man. We can reclaim our birthright and be the beings of power God created us to be. However, that power can only be reclaimed by one thing: Faith in God. Men and women must allow faith to guide them back to the truth of God. Faith is the only way to obtain the power intended for us.

-Faith that Jesus Christ redeemed us and paid for our sins on the cross

-Faith that God raised Jesus from the dead

-Faith that God desires His Spirit to live within us

-Faith that God has given us every resource to live an abundant life

-Faith in knowing that Gods love empowers us to rise above any situation, circumstance, perception or feeling in order that we might be His hands and voice to reach those whose lives have been robbed of power

The message of AXIS Grafix is simple: POWER!

The body of Christ is more than just the physical body that Jesus inhabits. The body of Christ is every person that accepts Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
God established a system of authority on this earth. The system requires that one must have a body in order to maintain earthly authority. This is why God called the heroes of faith depicted in the bible to bring hope and liberty to the nations. This is why God continues to use men and women to carry out his plan and reach those who are lost. This is why Jesus took human form to come to earth in order to save Gods children.

From the moment we were created, God had a plan for our lives. He placed within us gifts and abilities so that we might take an active role in His divine plan. God has given us these gifts unconditionally and never takes them back. They are ours to do with as we choose.

Unfortunately, the sin of man separates us from God. The gifts He has given us are selfishly squandered on fleshly desires and the cares of this world. Fortunately, God pursues us to bring us back to the purpose of our existence.

Every believer has been recreated with a new identity. We now share our identity, our purpose and our gifts with Gods only Son, Jesus Christ. When God resurrects our spirits, He resurrects our gifts and callings. Our abilities are no longer our own, they belong to Him. And conversely, His incredible power then belongs to us.

It is important that the body of Christ have knowledge of who they are; what their mission is; all the ability they possess in order that the plan of God might be fulfilled in these last days. Its important that the body of Christ work in unity with one another; each one playing a vital role in Gods grand scheme. It is important that the body of Christ be submitted to the head, which is Jesus Christ.

Gods desire is that all would take their place in the body. He has placed a call and destiny on each of our lives in order to reach a lost and hurting world.

Grace is Gods willingness to use His unlimited power and ability on our behalf even though we dont deserve it. The greatest demonstration of Grace occurred when Jesus Christ gave His perfect, sinless life to save our fallen, sin-filled lives. As His life and blood were poured out for our sins, the Grace of God flowed to every heart that would receive it. Grace was imparted to all those who had come before and to those yet to come. The power of Grace was able to transcend time and bring man back in relationship with God.

There have been sermons preached, lessons taught and songs sung about the power in the blood of Jesus. Jesus blood shed for the remission of sins is the physical manifestation of Gods Grace. That wonder working power in the blood ushers in the super-natural into our natural world. It brings the infinite and eternal into our limited, finite realm.

The bible instructs all of us to be strong in Grace. I believe that God is telling us that we need not fear the work of the enemy, our flesh or the world. Though we were once prisoners to the letter of the law, the spirit of Grace has brought us freedom. The very law that condemned us now through the Grace of God brings us Gods righteous strength.

The Grace of God not only rescues us; it can flow through us to bring life and power to those who need a miracle. It is the strength by which we live.

God cherishes obedience above sacrifice. Why? Very often when a person gives up something that is dear to them, there is a feeling of loss. When a person submits himself or herself and acts in obedience, there has to be faith and trust in the one they are submitting to.

Our heavenly Father has established and ordained authority, even within the Godhead. The Holy Spirit exalts the Son who exalts the Father. There is an order and proper alignment in everything God has created and set into motion. All of creation has its place and each has a very specific purpose. Obedience to God is key to the success of each person.

Even within himself, man must have proper alignment in order to fulfill all that God has called him to. The flesh must be submitted to the soul (mind, will and emotions) which must be submitted to the spirit (the recreated identity of man) which is submitted to God.

Obedience allows God to move. Many men and women in the bible received blessings and miracles because they were obedient to God and did what He asked them to do. Their obedience was the manifestation of their faith and trust. It opened the door for the power of God to move mightily in their lives and touch the lives of others.

You will know the Truth, and the Truth will make you freeÖ
Many people in the world today are confusing the Truth with the facts. Facts are based in a finite, perishing existence here on the earth. The Truth stands eternal and isnt moved by circumstances. The Truth is a solid unshakable foundation, which is incapable of failing.

The facts may indicate something contrary to the Truth. For example: science tells us that any distance can always be cut in half. If an object traveling from point A to point B has to travel half that distance first, and then must travel half that distance before that, and then must travel half that distance before that, and so on and so on Ö. the end result would be that nothing would ever travel because any distance can be divided an infinitesimal amount. The Truth is, people and objects travel between two points all the time. The Truth is more real than the facts.

Every person needs to understand the Truth of Gods love; the Truth of our destiny in Christ; the Truth of the rights and privileges we have as believers in Jesus; the Truth of satans plans and schemes to destroy the works of God; the truth of the abundant life made available to us by God; the Truth of our salvation and deliverance through Jesus sacrifice.

The Truth shines a light in the midst of the darkness and reveals those things which are real. Experiential knowledge of the Truth gives Christians the power to stand in boldness and faith; secure in knowing that if God is for them, then no one, no thing, no power can be against them.

Jesus explained to Nicodemus that a person must be born again in order to enter the kingdom of God. People are born into sin. No one has to teach a child how to lie or steal. It is within their sin nature.

When someone accepts the forgiveness of sins that comes through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the same resurrection experience happens to them as well. Their old spirit, which was dead unto God is done away with and they are recreated as a new creature holy and pure before God.

Christians are reborn with a new sinless nature. It is not enough for them to be cleansed and have their past sins taken away. If that were the case, they would still possess their old, sinful nature. They would eventually sin and negate the forgiveness that was given them. That forgiveness would only act as a temporary solution to an on-going problem. The sinful nature within them would keep them from walking in the fullness of God.

Receiving Christ as Savior and Lord allows the Holy Spirit to step in and perform a miracle. God transforms that person into a new, regenerated being with the attributes and gifts of God; set apart to do the works of the Lord and reach others that they might know this redemption and the power of Gods love.

So often when we think about Love we think about the warm, fuzzy feelings we get when we are enamored with something or the romantic inclinations we have towards another person. Most often, these feelings are selfishly motivated. They are driven by an attitude of self gratification and what can this thing/person/situation do for me.
However, the true, pure Love of God is selfless in nature. It is unconditional and without limitation. Love is the very basis of the freedom God has given us. God loves us when we choose Him, and even when we dont choose Him. Gods love is perfect and complete and cannot be removed.

We can never fully appreciate or understand the extent of Gods love. But when we open our hearts and willingly give ourselves back to God, His love not only flows to us, it flows through us.

Gods love can empower us to stay afloat rather than drown in hatred, jealousy, envy and pride. Gods love can give us wings to rise above the cares of this world and the imperfections of man. Gods love will motivate us to step out and act when our eyes see with His compassion and mercy.

God desires that we grow in our love relationship with Him. As with any fruitful relationship, there must be time spent cultivating the good things and weeding out the bad. Our worship of God can be reflected in our acts of love towards one another.

The might, strength and power of God is so much more than we can fathom. We can only conceive a fraction of the magnitude of God power. It is something outside the realm of our reasoning. But that power, the full anointing of God resides inside the anointed one, Jesus Christ who lives inside of us.

Gods power has been made available to us. In Acts chapter 1, Jesus told His disciples that they would receive power from the Holy Spirit. That power would enable them to be witnesses to the ends of the earth. Did the disciples travel to the ends of the earth? Some traveled a great distance, but not to the ends of the earth. I believe that God was saying that His power would reach through them and touch every type of person in every type of situation from the world that they knew to those at the end of the earth. Gods power is for everyone!

His power begins in our weakness. When we are unable, God shows Himself strong. He not only exerts His power to help us, but also infuses us with His power so that we might be active in His helping.

His unlimited, omnipotent power is accessed through our surrender. When we yield ourselves wholly and completely, God is able to move super naturally in our natural arena. We may not always understand the plan of God. His ways are higher than ours. But if we trust Him and allow Him to flow as He wills, then we will see Him flow in ways that only He can.

The Spirit of God provides us the strength to do that which we cannot do in our own power. He gives us boldness to be a witness; insight to understand His Word; the ability to resist temptation and live the separated life He has called each of us to live; the power to pray the will of God and tear down the strongholds of the enemy.
The Spirit is described as many different earthly forces to try and help us understand his might. He is a rushing mighty wind. He is a consuming fire. He is a divine current and the solid rock. He is a still small voice, the eye who sees all and the most precious gem. He is our all in all.

We are truly free indeed. When God created man, He gave something of incredible value: free will. God wanted children who didnt just love and serve Him because they had to, but because they wanted to. Our choice can either be the greatest asset, or most deadly tool that we possess.

Our free choice is our right to steer our lives in the direction we want. It is the freedom to make mistakes and wrong decisions. But it can also be the freedom to grow in a very healthy, fruitful relationship with God.

God allows us to make wrong choices so that we might grow in obedience and trust, as well as our understanding of how powerful our choices can be. We are to learn from our wrong choices and realize that they affect and change the world around us.
Some people say that God chooses us and we are pre-destined to serve Him. Still others say that it is completely our choice whether or not we accept God. I believe that both our true. Just as a man may court a woman to win her heart, so does the Spirit of God draw us and tries to woo us with His love. And just as a woman decides to give her heart to that man, so do we decide whether or not we will surrender our lives to Jesus. We choose each other.

One of the most important things that Christians should learn is to grow from our choices. Even a wrong choice can help to point us in Gods direction.

The bible tells us in Hebrews 11:6 that it is impossible to please God without faith. That lets us know that faith must be pretty important. Faith is the instrument that God has given us to reach into the super natural realm and bring the eternal blessings and provisions we need into our physical realm.

Faith begins with knowing. Some believe that faith is hoping, but faith comes after hope. Faith is not what someone hopes will happen, it is what we know has already happened. It grows from experience and gives birth to stronger, deeper and newer generations of faith.

Faith is our spiritual muscle. The more it is exercised and pushed, the stronger it becomes. Faith is not the limitations of where we are, but rather the boundless possibilities of where we can go. More than that, it is the perfection of where Jesus has already been. It is not blind or without reason, but the assurance of Him who leads.

How can Christians grow in their walk with God if they do not grow in faith? Should we not allow ourselves to be stretched so that our lives may be expanded to reach more? Isnt faith the very essence of how we came to know the Lord? What great things lye ahead of us that will require faith in God to succeed? Dare I say, the rest of our lives.

In the Word of God it says, Without a vision, the people perish. God wants all of us to dream and dream big. We need to step out of the box of our perceptions and begin to see things as God sees them. We cannot allow the devil and the world to steal our dreams and the power they bring.

When we humble ourselves before the Lord, He will highly exalt us. Humility and submission cause us to see the end of our human strength and the beginning of Gods eternal power. The realization and acceptance of our need for God invites Him to move in our lives.

The Joy of the Lord is our strength. When we rejoice in the Lord, we are removed from the confines of the circumstance and lifted to the presence of God. That Joy is constant and secure like the bottom of the ocean, unlike happiness which is up and down like the waves at the surface of the sea.
