Trilogy

Synopsis written by Brian Armes

Luke Baron was dead: to begin with. There is no doubt whatever about that. Every major media outlet covered his funeral. He was a celebrity: a gold medal Olympian, a decorated combat pilot, and the System's Sovereign of Defense. The press was there. The System was there. The citizenry grieved from their living rooms. The whole world knew Luke Baron was dead.

What the whole world did not know was that Luke Baron had secrets -- secrets that would expose the dark corruption of the System, secrets that helped form the AXIS resistance, and secrets that promised to preserve the future. Some men would, and did, kill to keep Luke Barons secrets silent.

What the whole world will soon learn is that Luke Baron's secrets were never meant to go with him into the grave. Anticipating his own assassination, Luke sought to save the future by leaving his secrets for whoever would search his mountain retreat, seaside resort, or Peak City estate.

Nestled in the Western Canada Free Provence, Peak City served as host of the Winter Olympics nearly 30 years ago. It also served as the Extreme North American AXIS Cell, founded by Luke Baron himself. The mountain estate, once the AXIS: ENA headquarters, now lies in ruin, ravaged by System agents ordered to find evidence of Luke Barons secret knowledge. Long abandoning the futile search, the System forgot the estate, making it a perfect hiding place for Yun' Vik and Luke Baron's greatest secret.

A Renegade D.E.D. Lev: 21, Yun' Vik has sought sanctuary from Chul'rah's agents. One blustery night he uncovers the encoded journals of Luke Baron. Cracking the code, Yun' Vik discovers dark truths about the System, a fortune hidden in the estate, and documentation of an experimental science project: the cloning of Luke Baron.

Yun' Vik now must travel to the Rhineland, the Congo, and Rome to unite the three "sons" of Luke Baron: Gage Von Herick the world renown hunter, Odys the warrior of the Te Yah tribe in West Africa, and Destin Aaruso the aerialist who has grown up in the circus. Combining their unique talents, guided by Yun Vik, and inspired by the words Luke Baron left them, the three become one in their quest to fulfill their father's destiny: become a scourge against the System, working with AXIS to expose corruption and defeat the opposition of freedom.
